E/D Survivability Build
Well since a guildie of mine capped Sandstorm and showed me the horror of it in AB, I rolled an PvP Elementalist and started to ryde dirty. You may have seen somthing like this in AB, but this build guarentees you can hold onto a point until your backup comes. I've mainly used this in AB, but I am looking to use it for holding altars in HoH.

10 Energy Storage (9+1)
9 Earth Prayers
Vital Equipment: Staff/Wand&offhand with a HCT 20%(Earth) or 10% All, Superior Vigor.
Skills:
Earth Attunement- Energy Return
Stoneflesh Aura- Tank Skill #1
Armor of Earth- Tank Skill #2
Glyph of Elemental Power- Booster Shot for your Earth magic
Stoning/Ebon Hawk- Finisher for any nearby weak targets.
Sandstorm*- Useful for eliminating NPC's or causing pandemonium against a mob
Vital Boon/Mystic Regeneration- Healing to keep tankage up.
Signet of Pious Light- Healing, but more importantly to drop Armor of Earth when done tanking.
Simply put you are meant to draw fire and cause some confusion while waiting for backup. The Armor/Aura combo is the best in damage mitigation (S** it reduced Searing Flames to 10 damage), meanwhile if you are dealing with a mob just throw a Sandstorm out and watch them scatter; it would be best to do it to the closest unit to keep pressure off you. If you see any low-health units hit them with Stoning or Ebon Hawk to get your kill count.
Another nifty trick is that you can use this to cap points solo. Any NPC group easily falls for this except for Mesmers (Backfire ftl), so if you have an opp to solo it take the chance.
Probably the only things that kill this build is Touchers (RAGE) and Degen. For degen though, Mystic Regen is there.
I am new to the whole Ele business, but feel free to C&C and tear this apart. I wanna see if I can mod this for Hero's Ascent useage.
